The Venice boardwalk is amazing. I loved everything about it. I could spend the entire day here watching dare devils at the skatepark. The surfers, or exercising at Muscle beach. Very nice place if you are into street art and want to experience the unique Venice flair. Defiantly a go to if you are in LA. Place for drinking and party at the weekends. Sadly it is full with homeless which are partially a risk. I saw a guy with a machete walking around at 7 am, others were sitting on the street just yelling at people and insulting random tourists. Would be 5 stars if the city does something about this, cops only partially care.

Visited alone and had a great experience. I didn’t feel any insecurity or had any fear of being in danger. The boardwalk was clean! The people were friendly! It's a really cool place. I can see how the vibe there when it's in full effect could be nice, not much happening on the day I went. All my years of wanting to visit this place, it wasn't as hype as I expected, especially for the summer. Our bicycle tour guide "MOHAW", was dope and fun af! Seen a young lady who was either dead or had overdosed. It was surprising how there wasn't a sense of urgency and the people and life guards say it happens so much that it's no surprise, so they don't really get alarmed. I'll still go back tho for another experience.

Venice Beach is always a vibe. There’s always something going on. From skating, surfing, volleyball, vendors, music, restaurants and shops. They also have bike buggies that charge around $20 - $25 to take you from Venice Beach to the Santa Monica Beach Pier. The best place to buy amazing art! Many of the people selling art on the boardwalk are homeless. You will never find a more dazzling array of art and people! From the richest to the poorest. People from all over the world and all walks of life come here. This is a melting pot of humanity. Peace to all.
