This was one of the best experiences I've had here in Arizona. This was so fun, so relaxing. The customer service all over from the railway to the train was excellent. We were on the newest first class train and it was like being in a comfortable home living room with the best moving view ever. The food was great and drinks even better. We made new friends and connections. I can't wait to do this again. Highly recommend this.

Brilliant Experience in an amazing part of Arizona full of history and superb views. We travelled first class where we enjoyed a buffet and a champagne toast. Each carriage has its own viewing deck and a local guide to explain what you can expect to see. For me the highlight was seeing a pair of bald eagle's. It's a 4 hour trip which is well worth it especially if you like vintage trains.

If you had to pick one heal-day adventure that would satisfy the adults as much as the kids, this is it. Amazing, astounding scenery on all sides as you pass through the narrows of the Verde River Canyon and head to Perkinsville, population 5. Though I'm not particularly a fan of singing cowboys, when we did the train ride I had to keep moving to avoid him as he passed from car to car. Still, the ride itself, the food, the scenery, the breeze as you stand outside in one of the shaded cars, all add up to a memorable event.

Very pretty and relaxing ride. There are few other ways to see so much of the remote areas of this part of the country and this is by far the most relaxing. Get the first class cabin upgrade and grab some food on the train.

The conductors and staff are great. Everyone seems to really enjoy working there. The staff wants to connect on a personal level and that really makes a difference. This is a Train Lover's dream! The layman will marvel as well at the magnificent wonder of riding the rail through the beautiful Arizona Verde Canyon.
