Terrible experience last night, 4/20/17, at this store in Dana Point. The sales rep was young and seemed inexperienced. The customer service was appalling. After he completed our returns, we were told to call customer service to cancel our phone lines ourselves. I asked if we could sit down for a moment with my elderly grandmother in order to do so, and he told us we could not, because the store was closing, and we had to leave. Concerned about the ability to cancel our lines before the day ended, I called the 611 number as instructed before stepping out of the store, just to make sure. I connected to a customer service rep who explained to me that he needed to talk to the sales rep in the store, and that I shouldn't have been the one calling him. The store sales rep acted irritated and egotistical declining to speak to the person on the phone. I put the phone on speaker, and they argued. The phone disconnected. I got another call back from a technician who also explained that, yes, the store needed to be or may need to be involved with this process. To be certain, they told me to please not leave the store. Once again, the sales rep declined to talk to the person on the phone, telling me I didn't know what I was talking about. This went on for several minutes, until he finally obliged and spoke to the technician on the phone. ---- To cancel a line after the 14 day period, I was told there would be a $280 fee per line. There were 3 lines that needed to be cancelled. If it hadn't gotten resolved yesterday, my grandmother would have had to pay $840. Yesterday was the last day within the 14 day grace period that we could have returned the phones and canceled the lines. Understandably, it was important to get this matter resolved before the day ended, but the sales rep tried to rush us out of the store before the matter was resolved. ---- Finally, he called the district manager and the lines were deactivated. It should not have gone down that way. I worked in customer service for over 10 years. I would have never treated guests that way. You don't try to kick your customers out until the job is done, and until they are satisfied. Period. I don't care how much you want to go home. I really hope they start providing better training for their staff with higher expectations for customer service. I will never go back there.

A great store if you like stoned out surfer teens who don't know anything. Like maybe they should try hiring responsible adults who are capable of an answer beyond "I don't know" or "sorry can't help dude"

I hope that no one dismisses this review due to its' immensely positive nature, but I was absolutely floored with the level of service I received from Michael Rad and his team. I truly had to pinch myself repeatedly to be reminded that everything was in-fact happening as I was interpreting it. This was some of the most engaged, thoughtful and prompt service that I have received in recent memory. Everyone was super friendly, knowledgeable and ultimately able to lead me to the product that best served my needs. I'd highly recommend anyone in the south OC area to come here instead of other stores...I thankfully didn't go to the MV store and instead was blessed with this divinely inspired interaction. Beyond grateful for the experience, it was an honor. Who would have thought - a Verizon Wireless store. ✨😊

I have been standing here for an hour and a half and have still not been waited on. Only one employee working, and when the second employee showed up, he proceeded to not help me or the other 3 people waiting. I will never come here again. Very disappointed with how they treat their customers.
