The following programs are available at the Vermilion County Health Department:

WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) - providing nutritious supplemental foods for pregnant or breastfeeding women, infants and children up to five years of age. Vital Records - Able to provide certified copies of birth and death certificates which were recorded and filed after January 1, 1983.

Communicable Disease Control and Immunization Program - Provides survillance over the incidence of communicable diseases and provides immunizations to children and adults.

Mission

The primary mission of the Vermilion County Health Department is improvement of the quality of life for all residents of Vermilion County, Illinois utilizaing disease prevention, health protection and health promotion programs designed to provide a healthier life and environment through enhanced community collaboration, cooperation and communication.
