Story

Welcome! The credit union is a not-for-profit financial institution serving members in the Vermillion community since 1959. Membership is now open to everyone who works in, lives in, worships in or attends school in Clay County, South Dakota, Dixon County, Nebraska, and most of Union County, South Dakota. Becoming a member of the credit union means that you also become a part owner. With our not-for-profit, tax exempt status, the credit union is able to provide services with less fees and very competitive loan and dividend rates to all of its members.

Mission

The mission of Vermillion Federal Credit Union, through member ownership and involvement, is to provide financial services in a professional and responsive manner, reflecting the credit union philosophy, "People Helping People."
