The Delaware Commission of Veterans Affairs, an office of the Delaware
Department of State, is dedicated to assisting veterans and their family
members in obtaining benefits and working with other government agencies
and civic organizations to facilitate assistive services. The Commission is an
advisory board appointed by the Governor to represent Delaware's veterans.
The Commission coordinates programs and objectives in State-wide advocacy
for veterans affairs. They administer policy and oversee operations of
Delaware's two Veterans Cemeteries and the Veterans Home. The Commission
of Veterans Affairs was established by the Delaware General Assembly in 1987.
