Highly recommend this place. My Boston Terrier Gizmo has terrible allergies to practically everything and has skin issues. He would scratch himself to the point his skin is raw and bleeding. I decided to come here to get a different approach rather than doing the same thing over and over like my previous vet was doing. I got the usual steroids and antibiotic shot, but the Dr. Recommended us to try this shot that blocks the receptors in the brain that make you scratch. We went for it, and let me tell you it was the best thing we have done for Gizmo. He's been doing great! No more scratching, and redness. Just a happy 🐕

My dog has a great deal of anxiety about going to the vet.  The Veterinary Wellness Center handled her beautifully.  They have separate dog and cat entrances, which helps.  They managed to treat her effectively, give her shots and clip her nails, all without freaking her out. And the medical care was excellent.  The vets called to make sure my dog was okay after her visits.

My cat had a fractured elbow and this place did X-rays , gave him rabbis shot, and an anti- inflammation shot. Not once did they give my cat pain medicine to ease his pain, they were $$ hungry. My parent's in law had to pay $700 just for spike to still suffer. They did absolutely nothing to help our cat. The staff and doctor herself said that they can do his surgery, but end up "referring" us to a hospital who would charge us over $2,000, so when we decided to go to the Humane society in Manhattan (which is cheaper) they (Veterinary Wellness center) gave me a complete hard time getting MY cat's record's . they lied and told me that they sent everything over, then come to find out, when I went to go takey cat to Manhattan, they had to do EVERYTHING over all because this place was upset we didn't go to the expensive place they referred us to! We're going to request that they refund is our money back, and if not, I guess we will see each other in court! I still don't have my cat's record's and they didn't do anything to heal or help his condition! This place is MONEY HUNGRY you guy's!! Do not come to this vet! Worst experience ever!!

Veterinary Wellness Center of Boerum Hill is fantastic. Very friendly and sensitive to both pets and their parents! I brought my kitty to Dr.Arpino after her appetite had been declining for about a week, and he took very good care of her, and followed up with daily check-ins to see how she was doing (and each day was a different story!). They are very capable and I feel confident that they really know what they are doing. She is now eating again and back to her playful self! I would recommend them to friends and family for great care for your pet.

I had a great check up with Dr. Arpino for my dog. He had a great manner with both of us and was very knowledgable! Nice office -- I like the separate cat entrance. And they pay for parking across the street!
