The VF Outlet Center is America’s original discount clothing destination. Built on the site of the former Berkshire Knitting Mills in Reading, Pennsylvania–at one time, the world’s largest hosiery mill, it began in 1970 with the opening of the VF Outlet Store. The original store was separated from the manufacturing floor by a simple drop cloth. But from those modest beginnings, it soon became known as the best place to buy Vanity Fair brand lingerie, sleepwear and robes.
