My fiancé and I came in for dinner on Sunday night and this place will now be our go to pizza spot! First off, the food is absolutely delicious. We ordered the carnivore pizza for 2 and the crust is to die for. As for the customer service, we sat at the bar and the bartender was so friendly and attentive. The manager even greeted us and treated us to free cinnamon sticks which were SO good. We’ll be recommending this spot to everyone we know and will 100% be coming back!
Very impressive service, friendly, inviting atmosphere, TV entertainment, manager came to our table to greet us and was super kind. Tried their cheesy bread this is a must try! and for only $6 or $7 it's a real treat! 8 slices of mozzarella toasted bread that comes with marinara sauce, was amazing! Ordered a large Detroit-style Omnivore pizza which comes with bell pepper, onion, mushrooms, pepperoni, and sausage with a rich marinara sauce and melted mozzarella cheese and it was hard to stop eating! Was $28 for a large which feeds 4 so we took leftovers home. Place was getting busy when we arrived and definitely lively when we got our food, but our pizza took about 25 minutes we were told about 20-30 when we ordered it but the service never disappointed. Will definitely be back!!!
We visited the original food cart in Austin in December of 2022 and being a lover of Detroit style pizze they had me at hello. The great part is that they made the regular Detroit style pop with amazing quality and crisp ones. We immediately told other people about it from our company Christmas party and they went and had the same amazing experience that we did. When I found out two days ago that they put one in Phoenix a month ago I had to take my wife immediately! We loved the experience and chatted with the assistant manager. They made us a great pizza with meatballs as an appetizer and cinnamon sticks for a desert, and the only complaint was that the sauce on the pizza and the meatballs was not very warm. Other than that, we absolutely loved it and will be back for more!
First of all, our server was Mason and he was awesome. Very kind and genuine guy with the best customer service I have had in a long time. And I have worked customer service for 15 years. Lol! Genuinely appreciate him and the team making my families night such a great experience. Pictures don't do it justice. The food was outstanding. My husband and I agreed it's like our two favorite styles of pizza in one. He loves a thin crust, and I'm a deep dish gal. So we were both pleasantly surprised with the lovely crisp outer layer and not overly doughy. It was so good we ordered a second pizza. Also, the dessert pictured is amazing. It has a little crunch on top of glazed sugar and house made cream cheese icing. Outstanding!! The atmosphere was really neat, a mix of laid back but also nice spot. It's not some run-down pizza spot. It's really cute inside. Could dress up or go casual. ASU students get a 5%it might've been more discount, but bring your student I.D. to get it. We will be back and are already planning to bring my in-laws here when they are in town. 100,000% Kid-friendliness: My 2 year old had a blast. They have coloring available too.
If I could leave more than a 5 star review I totally would! They have THE BEST GLUTEN FREE PIZZA I've ever had in my entire life. Not even exaggerating. The crust is not heavy, in fact, it's light and airy! Theway pizza crust should be! Not to mention, their Detroit sauce tastes exactly like my parents homemade Italian pasta sauce. It's the best! They also have options for gluten free dessert and they are delicious! If you are looking for the best gluten free pizza in the valley, or in phoenix, you've found it! It's a must go to for those with gluten allergies or dietary restrictions for gluten. Dietary restrictions: Amazing Gluten Free Pizza. Top notch!
As a Detroiter, from Montana St. & John R. I grew up on Buddy's. Never thought I'd say this, but BETTER than Buddy's. I love me some Buddy's when I visit the D. The pizza is stellar!!!! Michael was our server, he was GREAT! Felipe the manager was so sweet, friendly and really exudes that Detroit hospitality. The pizza, the meatballs, the salad, is all full blown stupendous! Do yourself a favor, go! You'll not regret it, and will be on repeat. The atmosphere is cool, plenty of free parking and greatness awaits! Also, the music is righteous!
Quality pizzeria! Good service and management exceeded expectations. The vegan options are surprisingly great crust and cheese. Definitely pays homage to the D. Lots of thought and time put into giving a Detroit vibe. Detroit style pizza is something you didn't know existed but secretly crave. The server was even from MI.. All the vibes. High recommendation.. Dietary restrictions: The Vegan Detroiter [Detroit Style] is also gluten free and it was delicious. I was a bit in disbelief. They choose the best vegan cheese available to work with.. Might be one of the best vegan pizzas that I've had to date making you not realize it's even vegan/gluten-free. They figured out gluten free crust, too, as I'm usually not generally impressed with gluten free bread. Also had bar style pizza at the table which looked great. That one wasn't vegan or else I would have tasted it. Nice looking spin on a thin crust. Parking: Free parking lot within plaza. The plaza's parking lot seems improperly spaced. The spots are a bit too close, but with that said, there is plenty of parking.
My wife is allergic to wheat and this is by far our favorite gluten free pizza. The crust is thick and so good that it’s hard to tell it’s gluten free. The gluten free cinnamon sticks are also quite good. Beyond that, the staff is so kind and they all seem to really enjoy working here. I have a hard time going out to eat these days…seems like quality and quality have gone way down at most places but not here.
Amazing Pizza, Amazing Cinnamon Sticks, and Amazing Service. We are Vegans and we had The Detroit, it was soo good. I had my fair share of pizza's in my days especially being from New York and not always being Vegan. This Pizza was Definitely up with New York Pizza, so much flavor and the crust was awesome. My family will definitely be back. Dietary restrictions: Vegan
Nothing but great things to say about this spot. It’s in a super convenient location with ample parking. The service was awesome form start to finish. All the food was sooooo tasty! The pizza was crispy and soft at the same time. Cooked perfectly! And they even gave us some free dessert sticks as a welcome! We will absolutely be back, this location knocked it out of the park for us.
