We had a great time at this restaurant. Everything we got tasted great. Great little Brazilian restaurant.Food: 5/5
We had the seafood Mariscada, the Branzino special with brocoli rice and caipirinhas! Delish! The staff is very attentive and nice. Will return and try other dishes -possibly increase # stars.Food: 4/5
The food is great, but bear in mind that there’s a minimum tip specified on the bill and they will make you pay that. At first I didn’t realize that and when I wrote another value on the receipt, the waiter was extremely rude to us and pointed on the bill that there’s a minimum tip amount, which was about 15%. It was an honest mistake from our side, that rudeness was unnecessary. Never going back again, and I don’t recommend.
Lovely place to have a meal. The service was excellent & they went above & beyond with our large group. The food was served in a timely fashion. My meal was okay. Others enjoyed their meal better than mine. Beautiful place. Wheelchair accessibility: The space is on the first floor.
Good food, but be aware they add a 20% tip automatically without asking if you’re satisfied with the service. In my case, I chose not to make a big deal about it, but I didn’t feel the service warranted that amount. I’ll think twice before returning, especially since there are many better dining options in NYC that don’t take advantage of customers. Be cautious.
You guys are going wild on the tip issue, automatically adding the 20% and not being able to serve the customer on the high level of your tip request. Come on, wake up and take some time to read the reviews and address to this issue with proper attention. About 30 minutes ago I was almost forced to tip 20% and the attendant even said that I was not in Brasil to tip less than that, ridiculous. One star goes to the server who brought meal to our table, everyone else deserves nothing.
Before having a chance to ask about dining and since I had been in the car driving for a long time, I asked about restroom. Manager very rudely said "No, you can't use the restroom." I guess sharing your restroom is a big obstacle for some. Good news is I went across the street to a Thai place and the ladies graciously allowed me to use the restroom. Food in the Thai place looked amazing, by the way!
An stop and go, IPA beer very cold and atmosphere very calm. The guy from the bar recommended me to come before 9 pm if Im looking for food. I’ll back later for it Food: 5/5
The service was fast and friendly, the ambient was clean and very nice, and the food was traditional and tasted amazing. I was visiting NYC and decided to try this place since I was missing some food from back home, and it was just what I needed to kill my cravings. I tried their pao de queijo, pastel, coxinha, brigadeiro, and caipirinha. I look forward to my next visit!
This review is based on a Saturday afternoon visit at approximately 2:00 pm. Not crowded, plenty of seating available. This was our second visit to this establishment. Our first visit three years ago was wonderful, not so much this time. The food was over cooked, over priced and overall disappointing. The picanha was burnt, the chicken was tough, the pao de queijo was cold, and the caipirinha was not authentic tasting at all. The desserts were fabulous and the restaurant was very clean and our waiter was very nice, knowledgeable and friendly. Sadly, I would not return nor recommend.
