Being a private eye is not a simple task, it calls for a desire to achieve, integrity, honesty, dependability, communication and superb interpersonal skills; so when I traded my PI hat for a Real Estate license, I knew I would bring a multi-dimensional responsiveness to every transaction and each client.
In college, I studied pre-law and psychology, and I worked for the Public Defender's Office, after graduation I worked as a private investigator, and I learned to pay fierce attention to details. Details matter when working with homebuyers and sellers as many forms, and legal contracts are needed to close a real estate transaction. I notice things that buyers might overlook in the excitement of falling in love with a home listed for sale. Sellers trust me to handle all the details to display their home to perfection.
I'm a hands-on agent. If something has to happen, I roll up my sleeves and take care of it. Like the time I helped a client sell his home after his wife passed away. His five bedroom home of 30-years held a lot of stuff and tons of memories. I sorted and sifted a lifetime of household items, dismantled furniture for his impending move, held a garage sale, hired a dumpster for cleanup, and listed it for sale. The property received twelve offers!
I believe follow-up is as important as showing up. I'm proud of my reputation for timely communication; I respond to calls, texts, and emails often in seconds, not hours or days. I embrace technology, but I also employ traditional touches. I knock on doors, and handwrite letters – nothing beats the personal touch, especially during the life-changing situation of buying or selling a home. No-one likes vague answers, so after each showing appointment and open house, I give my sellers specific feedback verbally and in writing.
My strategic and technology enhanced marketing approach includes drones, videos and 3-D tours and nets a ‘feeding frenzy' of offers. Homes I have listed often sell quickly and for over asking price. My average sales to list price is 100.6% in the last year. I make ‘your property, my priority' and clients feel like they are my only clients!
I help buyers and sellers in Orange County but specialize in coastal areas. I was born and raised in Huntington Beach, and I'm a ‘Surf City' homeowner, and my family lives here too. When I'm not grilling on my patio, or visiting my favorite sushi joint, I volunteer at the senior center delivering meals on wheels – that's just the way I roll!
