Viera East Golf Club, about an hour east of Orlando on the shores of Indian River, boasts a championship 18-hole golf course designed by one of the game’s masters, Joe Lee. The course is a delicate mélange of the natural terrain, Viera's native marshlands and picturesque lakes, making Viera East Golf Club one of Joe’s finest creations. The fairways are well-defined with generous landing areas but Lee, famous for his creative use of bunkering has done his best to thwart low scoring. Those often deadly bunkers, along with the prevailing coastal breezes, will challenge even the lowest handicappers. But all the above should not put you off. The course is a pure delight to play, especially if you stay off the championship tees. I love it. Viera East Golf Club truly is worth the drive from Orlando. You won’t be disappointed, I promise.

Golf was spectacular, tif eagle greens, exceptionally maintained. First server was great. At the turn I went in to get a quick refill on my tea. As it turns out "You can't do that, refills are a dollar" cool with me, I  give her my card to swipe but the machine is down. So I ask what do I do and I get the "not my problem" look. So I sit there for 10 minutes while people are passing us on the course. I understand the policy. but I just paid over 150 dollars for 2 rounds of golf and breakfast. Work on your customer service skills.

Cool place to play. Great value course. Some patching in the rough and greens were decent.  Will definitely be back. Florida golf is the best.

A very friendly and helpful Staff.  Participants are friendly and respectful to each other. The Course is in great shape and the GPS on carts are very convenient for the season golfer like myself. The Lakes and Sand bunkers create a challenge for all golfers. The Tee Boxes are always set for the challenge of the day in a precise manner. I like the fact that the Resturant is flexible with their menu. An all around great course for all levels of play and special functions, the green fees are affordable. I play at many courses in my neighborhood and I also play at several 4 and 5 star resorts in the US and abroad. My 4 star rating is given to this Club based on my experience on similar courses to this one. It lacks one star from me which is not relevant to it’s operation but to my own personal level of luxury I enjoy.

Like one of its near neighbours (Baytree National), Viera East pleasantly plays through a residential development - this relatively open and flattish layout weaves its way along good-width, gently mounded fairways with the housing generally set back out of harm's way. 
Mulligan's Grille provides a welcoming and comfortable clubhouse restaurant in which to conduct your après-round post-mortem.

I really enjoy this great laid out course. Very quick greensva a good challenge with several sets of tees.
