Looking for traditional Mexican street tacos? Then look no further than Villa Michoacán. These no frills tacos are delicious. They hit the spot for those looking to recharge for the evening night out. Beverages alcoholic and non are also available for purchase. There are few seating areas but again if your only getting tacos, standing around eating with friends enjoying the energetic vibe of Grand Central Market is just as good. Friendly service. Price is surprisingly slightly less than what you would expect for this area. I recommend to try.
I don't normally leave reviews, but I found a piece of metal in my carnitas taco, and people need to know this. This place is delicious, and I normally eat from here when I'm in the area, but this is the first time it had metal in it I hopeFood: 2/5
We love the tacos in this taco stand in Los Angeles Grand Centra Market. The tacos are very flavorful and the carnitas are very juicy. There are sidewalk seatings right next to the Tacos stand on Broadway, you can enjoy watching people and cars drive by. Unlike the seatings inside, it is very crowded and uncomfortable. They usually give you a free sample taco if you walk up to the counter.
The carnitas was dry and has lots of fat. For the price of the food, this Mexican food isn't good. I was eating a burrito and found a piece of metal inside it! Beware of what you get to eat here. They are sloppy! Food: 1/5
Best carnitas tacos in LA period. I’ve been coming here for years! Love their tacos their always HUGE size and freshly chopped off the pig. Prices are reasonable and portions are large. Salsa bar to add to tacos. Occasionally they sell out and close early for the day. Tacos always slap and this is a guaranteed stop every time I’m in DTLA. 10/10
Update: The best carnitas tacos anywhere!!! Update: No more samples :* but I didn't care bc I couldn't finish their giant torta anyway. BOOM!!! #FOODCOMA Hands down the best carnitas tacos in LA!!! The crew gives you a sample. My perfect combo is eating the sample taco and buy 2 tacos and eat a pupusa on the other side of the market!!!! Bam!!!! Lunch done!!! I can't get enough of this place!!! Every time a family member visits, this is one of 3 spots I take them!
At $5 a taco, they should be far above what street tacos would usually be and unfortunately that's just not here. While the pork butt taco was fresh off the chopping block and pretty good, the same could not be said of the intestine taco which still held a heavy intestine taste. It didn't help that they had a lack of toppings compared to street vendors
I’ve been to a lot of corner taco joints in DTLA always looking for that tasty mouth watering flavorful carnitas tacos. I don’t know how I never stopped here. Well they have the best carnitas tacos surtido it’s a mixture of meat. Just looking at the menu you have a variety of choices. Definitely will be stopping here as this is the place for carnitas tacos and more.
This place was really good. While looking at their menu, the person behind at the store gave us some free taste and we are hooked! The meat definitely melts inside your mouth and you have the chance to choose what kind of sides you can est it with. If you haven’t tried Mexican food, better go here.
It was my first experiences eating a local Mexican tacos and it was perfect. So I ate it twice when I visit LA. I miss this place so much because I am living in Canada. The best place for me.Food: 5/5
