Nice little sweet shop, located in the Salt Lake City area. They have a great variety, I have cookies, cakes, and other delicious dessert items. We bought an assortment, and everything was delicious. They are in a small space, that is kind of cramped when there are several people there. They do offer dine in service as well.
Love this place. We always get the thin sliced rye bread with either chicken salad or their tuna. Every time we go to Salt Lake City we go back to this place. Lots of cookies and baked treats. Their soup is excellent as well.
What a joke. This place used to be a great location. I have gotten food there twice in 10 days and both times the quality has been a joke. This most recent time I got 2 kids turkey and provolone sandwiches and as shown in the picture and there is hardly any sauce and not even enough turkey to cover all the bread, its ridiculous. Previous order 10 days ago they left out my roll that goes with the salad and left off all 4 extra sandwiche topings I ordered and was charged for. I will not be going back again.
It just occurred to me today, one of the reasons I love this place so much: each bite into these sandwiches feels like Christmas morning! Utah's best sandwiches for sure! Go Utes!
Love this location!!They are so friendly and fast. Can't go wrong with the fresh ingredients and tasty desserts.
I love the food! It's fresh and is a great break away from fast food. Their menu is large and it's always hard to pick something! I go here when I'm in need of soup when I don't feel well. Love the large salads and sandwiches. The desserts are a favorite! Recently I had their bread pudding. It did not disappoint! The cookies are large and amazing. Highly recommend!
I love how this store is always clean and organized! The staff is the nicest. Sandwiches are really good but my absolutely favorite its the PIZZA I always order with ham and corn because it makes me remind of my hometown Venezuela. If you haven’t tried this combination you should! The pizza dough and the sauce its DELICIOUS
I'm visiting my daughter from out of state and she knows how much I loved BLT's She recommended I try Village Baker because they have the best BLT she has ever had. I would have to agree! The bread is so soft and flavorful. Half a sandwich is a meal. Their bacon was cooked to perfection! The only downside and I'm definitely not going to take away stars for this, is that they have so much temptation there that would definitely add to the calorie bank. Luckily, I was able to resist MOST the temptation but left with an Oatmeal raisin cookie the size of a personal pan pizza!
Ordered Broccoli Cheddar soup, a Chicken Salad Sandwich, and piece of cake for delivery. The order was placed online with specific instructions. The person preparing my order was "Felicia B". The order I received was incorrect and also prepared incorrectly. The cake was missing. I got the wrong soup and my sandwich was missing the extra toppings I paid to add. When I called Village Baker to explain the problem, their response was "We can't help you with a refund. If you'd like we can remake it for you, but you'll have to come pick it up". I ordered delivery because I'm not in a position to physically pick it up. I paid for delivery, I even included a tip for the driver. No one bothered to check the order, no one bothered to make sure the order was prepared according to instructions and no one bothered to care about making it right when they got it wrong. I understand things are difficult for restaurants right now. Short on staff, etc. But there's really no excuse for preparing an order without paying attention to what you're doing. That's a training issue. Waste of time. I'll probably never order delivery from them again.
Great sandwiches, pizza, and salad in a nice environment. The turkey cranberry sandwich was divine. The bread was soft and thick cut. My son had a chicken cordon bleu pizza that looked amazing, and must have tasted that way as well because he downed it all. The staff were nice and helped us to make our food decisions. The only downside was the ice machine was very slow and because of this the drink station was backed up.
