Welcome to Village Idiot Pub, a one-of-a-kind sports bar and restaurant in Patchogue! With delicious food, a variety of drinks and live music and sports, the fun and laid-back atmosphere at VIP has something for everyone to enjoy!

Walking in on a whim one night we were pleasantly surprised by the menu choices and the food quality was great! The service was fantastic and quick. The only down side is when you're getting take-out they don't have the best system for it yet. Bit difficult on a busy night at the bar to walk to the back to get your to-go order. Still great quality and very tasty!

Website has posted as of today 3/30/18 same day as my visit, dining room happy hour specials 3-7pm half off apps and tap beer & house liquor. Server charged me for 3 “stoli” doubles when I ordered “vodka sprite” and refused to adjust the $30 charge. Bar has great atomsphere and good food and very disappointed in my visit. Server “Chris” had no knowledge of specials and prices/menu. And did not offer consult with his manager. WILL NOT RETURN HERE. Very disappointed. Been to this location multiple times and is not a picky customer. Would not recommend for the average person looking to get a deal on their night out.

We were visiting family on long island last year and found this great pub. We made sure to stop by again on our recent visit. Very popular good food and drinks. Would highly recommend

The breakfast! Who knew? The breakfast here is absolutely amazing. Otherwise, regular restaurant/bar pub food that's decent and totally with the $$. But seriously, the breakfast. Hidden gem for a Saturday morning.
