Good food, usually. Almost always filled with old folks looking for breakfast food and free pie Wednesday. Servers are usually pretty nice, not too pushy but not slack. The only negative thing I'd give them is that the location is a bit out of the way and their parking lot is fairly small.
Bathrooms are usually slightly unkempt.

My husband said his French toast was good but I ordered the patty melt and it was poor! The meat was tasteless, hardly any onion or cheese on it. The sandwich was not grilled, the bread was just toasted. The result was not the creamy, cheesy, yummy, oniony sandwich that I wanted but a dry flavorless thing that ketchup and pickles couldn't even help (and I never put ketchup or pickles on patty melts ever). I should have stuck with a breakfast item. We brought some pie home, hope it's good.

I came in with a very large group, and the servers handled it very well. They were all kind and professional. The atmosphere is pleasant, typical Village Inn. Also, the food was delivered quickly for being in such a big group. It's a great place to stop if you're on the road.

As usual the order was incorrect. They brought an English muffin that was black not toasted just black from being burned. Husband ordered Coke and got Diet Coke and they also forgot the sausage for my order. Maybe it's the waitress she seems to be the one we've had the most problem with getting our orders correct.
