I love chicken fried steak. However I'm always fearful to order it because all too often the steak is tough and dry.  I decided to give it a try here.  It was amazing.  It was the best chicken fried steak I've had in a long time.  The outside was crispy to perfection and the inside was tender and juicy!  
My mother had the Ruben sandwich and enjoyed every bite. She also asked if she could get and order of half fries and half onion rings (because she couldn't decide on one or the other). Though they don't typically allow this kind of request, the manager allowed her request since they weren't very busy at the time.
We also had the banana cream and the coconut cream pies... which of course were delicious. 
I've been to other Village Inns and have likened the food quality to that of a cafeteria. Just okay. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and freshness of our meals, the kindness of the waiter, and the generosity of the manager.  We will definitely return and recommend this location!

I don't usually write reviews but I feel people should be aware of the experience I had there. Me, my wife, and my 12 year old daughter received horrible service by a waitress named Jackie. She was not attentive never offered to refill our drinks never offered a container for my leftovers and tossed our check on the table. She never offered us pie on free pie day and my daughter who is autistic, said "Hi, how is your day going?" and she did not look her direction or even a knowledge her. I feel that she thought, because we are African American, we would not tip her. I know this is the case because she was kind, attentive and personable with her other tables. At one point she was even laughing and joking with a white couple who sat in front of us then walked over to our table and her whole attitude changed. Since I am a firm believer in being fare I still tipped her but reported her to management. If you are black don't go to this village in. Me and my family will not return to that location ever again.

I've never been there but my car broke down in front of this village Inn(August 21st,2017) and without asking two employees(Men) working that morning came out and helped me push it aside. I wish I got their names. I am extremely thankful.

Busy Sunday morning, we waited maybe 5 mins to sit. Our server, Dominique, was awesome! Didn't have to ask for anything as she was right on top of everything. Great place to come the morning after a night out. The menu is extensive and breakfast, lunch, dinner served all day. Get the peanut butter cup pie.
