Called the front desk asking for some help finding some dupage county regulations. Was condescendingly laughed at, followed with a drawn out “yeah,” then hung up on. Expected better from those who are paid to serve and protect, very disappointing.

Well what can I say.... people who are empowered to serve society and be a role models of integrity and moral behavior, are acting like the crooks. Even 3rd world countries don't have such a police who dropped to such low level. I had parked on my apartment complex driveway on Sunday since all spots were taken in parking lot. Apparently, Westmont has law that you can't park over night and you need to call in which, the way cop explained, is on some sign when you enter town of Westmont. So I walk out on Monday to work and I see ticket, apparently, couple more people from EU that I knew of who lived there and had car parked on driveway also got tickets. Then I see cars behind and in front of my car with no tickets and I know for sure that there lived US natural born citizens (it just so happened that none of them got ticketed). So I drive to talk to police since I am new to area, why was I ticketed. I was explained that it was because it's not allowed to park on the driveway overnight w/out calling in and there is somewhere sign saying that when you enter Westmont. Then I asked: "how come it was only me who got ticketed, but others did not?" and policeman tells me: "well my colleague probably RUN OUT OF TICKETS, that's why he did not ticket other cars...."... like really??? To top stuff off, last week I got notice from collection agency that I have not paid the fine, which I was pretty confident that i did sent in, and from $40 dollars it grew to $300 dollars. Collection agency guy tells me: "why did you not react to 4 notices that they sent you regarding not paid fine, before transferring collection to our agency?". Apparently, they transferred the fine to collection agency and supplied them with my address for lettering. I said: "what notices, I did not receive any...". So I got from collection agent this woman phone in police department as contact. I call her up and she said that there were 4 notices sent to me (not 1, but 4!) and apparently none of them came back but I somehow did not manage to receive any.. everyone else seems to manage to find my address with their correspondence: insurance, bank, relatives from other states, heck even family living in EU had no problems finding my address, even Collectors, who got the SAME address from police for correspondence, managed to find my address in 1st try but hey police depart 4 supposed to be sent warning notices just... got lost..... Miss tells me to go to post office for held back letters. So I drove today to post office and they tell me: "we do not keep anything for more than 2 weeks, we return to the sender". So here is dilemma: Westmont Police department supposedly sent me 4 notices same address that Money Collectors used (after amount grew to 6 times original) and managed to find my place in 1st try. I did not receive ANY of 4 warning letters, post office does not have it since it was way passed 2 weeks so they must have had returned back to Police department IF there was any warning letter sent, and Westmont Police department claims that they "did not receive any mail back addressed to me". Since none of the notice letters were registered (not even 4th one), there was no tractability regarding whether they were sent out from Westmont Police department or I received them or if they got lost in post office aside from the fact that in Police department records specified that 4 letters were sent and addressed to me but somehow I did not receive a single letter and none of them returned to Police department... Really... just how low can you drop to do such things? Even 3rd world country police would be ashamed of such abusive behavior towards the residents and we are talking here about US honorable Police Department... 1. Reason for not ticketing others - "Run out of tickets" 2. I receive ALL letters from everyone else but hey, Westmont Police department sent 4 warning letters about belated ticket could not find me until my original fine grew 6 times...... and was transferred to Collection Agency for "not paying the fine" and hit my credit score. Shame on you.

I've been a victim of unconstitutional surveillance, and for ten years I'd asked for an investigation to how it occurred, and got nothing. I went through an extensive amount of sexual harassment, and attempted suicide in 2010 because of it. I reported 18 mos. of marital rape and psychological abuse at the hands of my ex-husband in January of 2015. The department refused to press charges, based on his denials. It was later related to me, they made a plea deal with my ex-husband, which included a bribe to avoid charges on sexual assault. A copy of the report I obtained, showed it had been completely altered from what I reported, depicting it as consensual, and that I was "sexually excited". I was denied an order of protection by the court, despite my testimony. My step-father in California committed suicide within days, and I don't believe the testimony was private based on Pres. Trump's public statement on how painful marital rape is immediately after. In pushing for accountability and transparency with the Clarendon Hills P.D., as I fell back into domestic violence in 2012, after a false stalking order against me by Boyd Farmer, I was arrested for emailing that police department in pushing for accountability. When I continue further in protesting in the community, by distributing a flier, in taking a stand against a system that fails to protect women, the DuPage County State's Attorneys office again comes knocking at my door, with further intimidation, and threats of facing a year in jail. The Westmont P.D. has basically turned a blind eye to it all. It would seem people are more afraid of the truth being disclosed in failing to protect women and their children, as I was further stripped of my rights as a mother, with sole custody awarded to my perpetrator. A woman in my building said she's too afraid to say anything, out of fear she'll be targeted next. I'm still battling the court on that arrest, they've threatened me with one year of jail, then had the audacity to present a plea deal to me, to avoid jail if I pleaded guilty. I refused. Now they're attempting to institutionalize me by declaring me unfit to stand trial for emailing a police department, to eliminate my chances of a fair trial altogether. The entire county is corrupt in my opinion. I'm discovering it's a vast network of bullies, that hold greater disdain in me speaking out, than taking an ounce of responsibility or even being truthful about what was done to me.

I live in Westmont and have always had good relations with the police. One time my dog got loose and the police found her and brought her back. The dog was excited to get the ride in a squad car, I think!
