years ago VinZant installed a line for a gas stove. Tonight at 1:30AM Center Point found 3 leaks on the installation, shut off the gas and tagged "DO NOT USE" on the VinZant installation. All the gas connections done 20 years ago are still good, guess I have a Sunday project...not happy!

Had a new water heater installed last year. The service provided by the plumber was excellent. No complaint there. However, 10 months after the job was completed, my family was contacted by the company who stated that they had neglected to bill us for a $100 service fee (we had already paid a $78 service fee per our warranty contract) which they discovered 10 months after the fact. My home warranty company refused to pay the additional fee since the error was on the part of VinZant for forgetting to add the service charge in the first place and then adding it almost a full year after the date of service. VinZant then threatened my family with a lien against my home for a cost that they were at fault for, which is the equivalent of a mob shakedown. I decided to pay the extortion money, but filed a report with the Better Business Bureau for VinZant's use of heavy-handed tactics for a mistake that they made. It's a shame, because the plumber was wonderful. The company, however was not. Let the buyer beware.

We received this feedback from a repeat customer in Chanhassen today;

Comments: Just a note to tell my appreciation for an excellent job performed by Brian. He went beyond the call of duty. After completing a full day of work he spent another 8 hours diagnosing and fixing a longstanding drainage problem at our condo building. Also Chris (the gymnast) came earlier and used those skills to determine if we might have a plumbing venting problem. We didn't so Brian came and fixed the actual plumbing problem. Our thanks to these two guys for great work.

Woke up at 5am to a very cold house and come to find out that the furnace took a crap overnight. My home warranty company is contracted with VinZant Plumbing for furnace issues. I was given the contact info for VinZant plumbing. The receptionist who took my phone call was very polite and assured me that the issue would be dealt with today. To save time and money she asked for the model and serial number so the technician could load up with all of the parts for my furnace. My technician was Jason Martin and this guy is AMAZING! He knew everything right away. He literally turned the furnace on and put his ear up to it as if he was the "furnace whisperer" and within seconds, he knew exactly what the problem was. He doubled checked his suspicion with a volt meter and BAMB he was right on the money. Within minutes he had the new part installed. He turned on the furnace and sure enough.....LET THERE BE HEAT! He was even willing to show me a few things about my furnace & duct work. He informed me of the type of furnace filters to buy, not to waste my money on the "high-end" filters, but to go with the $2-$3 filters. He recommended locals for duct cleaning and told me the price range that I should be paying to be sure that I didn't get ripped off. VinZant Plumbing, HVAC is top notch in my book! If your furnace is having issues, give VinZant a call and ask if Jason can be your tech since I can assure you that he knows his stuff! Thank you very much Jason AKA the furnace whisperer :)

I used to work for VinZant from 2012- 2014, and I've got to tell you: They are absolutely top-notch. The people who work there genuinely care about their clients, which is hard to find these days. From the office staff, to the techs in the field, every employee puts his (or her) heart and soul into their work. From waking up at 3am to fix a plumbing leak, to showing up every quarter for scheduled maintenance, they do it all. And they do it expertly every time. 

It's a small shop with highly trained service techs. Every employee is enrolled at Midway Vo-Tech to hone their trade and learn the cutting edge skills they need to solve your plumbing, HVAC, electrical, or drain problems effectively and efficiently.

The owners are Masters of their trades, and are truly down-to-earth people who really care about their clients and employees. 

Jason runs the HVAC department, and believe me, when your furnace or AC goes out, Jason's the guy you want fixing your unit. He's the best in the business.

Lewis is the best Journeyman Plumber out there. He can fix and install anything. And he's always smiling.

Brian is their lead drain tech. He's been through it all, both residential and commercial. He can clear the toughest drains with ease. 

Whether VinZant sends you their department head, or their newest tech, you can rest assured that you will receive the best service in the industry. And their prices are unbeatable. I personally recommend them and use them for all of my maintenance and repairs. And they deliver every time. Way to go VinZant!
