I received wonderful care from Dr Virella and his staff. I had a spinal fusion done. Dr Virella went to bat for me with the insurance company who was pushing back on this much needed procedure. If it wasn't for him I would still be in so much discomfort and pain today! Thank you for your professionalism and kindness!

I have had neck pain and headaches , arm pain and some tingling in fingers for the last few yearsI knew I needed to get surgery but was worried as I'm a trauma RN but mainly because I'm also a yoga teacher and wondered how a fusion would affect my mobility. I went to two other neurosurgeons before I consulted with Dr. Virella and after my first visit I knew he was the right surgeon. He was professional and compassionate and answered all my questions.His staff Mina and Judith are so helpful. I had 2 level  ACDF with hardware Dec 2016. My recovery was amazing, I wore a hard collar for 3 
months. I'm back at work and getting back to my yoga practice. The mobility in my neck is much better than I expected and I have had few headaches. Thanks Dr. Virella.
