All I had to do was get my medical card scanned and walk out I got my number at 8:58 and was not done until 944 that is just ridiculous because the woman that gave me my number was the one who scanned it. Just like every other time the lady that hands me the number normally scanned it but this time I had to wait almost an hour DMV workers are a joke they don't care slow as turtles having sex.

I live in Chester (Chesterfield DMV - always long lines and ridiculous waits, often unfriendly) and drive out of my way to Petersburg.  Fast and friendly service, smiling faces and helpful. Can't belive it's DMV!

My clerk was ride and I knew more about my transaction than she did. While I was called up to the counter in less than five minutes, it took her an HOUR to understand what I needed done! Hopewell DMV is 1000 times better!

About a year ago I went in three different times to register my vehicle and each time somebody said "no, you need to bring this." The fourth time I went in a woman told me that I didn't need any of it, and I only ended up needing exactly what I brought in the first visit, and I got my registration. When the workers weren't being completely rude to me, they had no idea what they were doing. 

Now a year later, I'm trying to renew my registration online but it won't let me. I am out of state (my husband is deployed and I'm staying with family) and I need to renew before it expires. I have contacted multiple people but nobody will help me at all. They just tell me they don't know what to do! Virginia DMV has some serious issues altogether. I can't wait to move out of this state!

Always a terrible wait when you go.  They will only have 2, maybe 3 people working the counters, and a lobby full of people.
