I’ve come here a couple times. Twice for strep, once for flu. When I came for strep I had all the symptoms but my rapid test came back negative. They didn’t give me any medicine, and instead did a 4 day culture. The culture ended up coming back positive both times, and then they called in medicine. Now, I had strep 12 times in one year. I know what it feels like!! I actually had to get my tonsils out I had it so many times. My issue with this urgent care is that they never give any medicine if the rapid comes back negative. The culture always comes back positive, and I just end up being miserable for another 3-4 Days. Other urgent cares I’ve visited will give me medication even if the rapid comes back negative because I have all the symptoms. Then, they follow up with a 4 day culture. The wait is always super long, 1 hour and then more from seeing the doctors and nurses. Would not recommend.

I've come in for an allergy-induced asthma attack and twice for stitches; all experiences have been positive! Great customer care and staff attends to patients as fast as they are able. I never felt confused or unsure of what was going on during my visits and I was happy with the care provided by the nurses and PAs. I would recommend this facility for anyone who has an urgent need for care that does not require a trip to the emergency room.

Don't go here. Don't go there under any circumstances. Look at all the one-star reviews and the horrible comments. They are all true. I went there with a hematoma under my thumb nail which was beyond painful. Unbelievable. The care was horrible. They don't have any topical lidocaine or anesthetic to deaden pain before a procedure. They don't carry any narcotics so they can't give you a shot of anything when you're in extreme pain. They tried to burn a hole through my thumbnail while I was awake and unmedicated. I have never experienced pain like that in my life and it didn't even go through the nail and solve the problem of releasing the pressure of the blood underneath the nail bed. The worst part about it was their attitude. Well maybe the incompetence was the worst part, but the attitude was really bad. The doctor seemed nice enough but very inexperienced. She was supervised by a Nurse. Nurse Morga. That woman was an absolute witch. An absolute souless, uncaring obnoxious witch. And of all things she was a supervisor! Unbelievable. The nurse supervising doctors. Get that. I left the procedure room to join my wife in the waiting room and call my insurance and see if I could go to the emergency room. Nurse Morgan confronted us and was rude and combative. She told us she was going to find security to have us thrown out. I gladly left on my own. Oh my goodness. This is the way they will treat you at that facility. Don't go there under any circumstances. I live close by in Arlington County and I knew I should have gone to Fairfax Inova. I knew it. Don't make the same mistake I did.

I am giving this a 2/5 stars because my experience has been very hit or miss. I have seen some really great doctors here who really do care and help and the front desk staff and nurses are all nice. Dr. Khorrami is awful though. Every time I’ve seen him he acts like I’m exaggerating my symptoms. Once I came in when I was literally having anaphylaxis and my throat was closing up and needed epinepherine RIGHT THEN, and he told me “it’s probably just anxiety.” As soon as he gave me the injection I began gasping for air because I couldn’t breathe before and he was like “see? You’re breathing too hard because you’re anxious.” Um maybe I was anxious because I COULD NOT BREATHE. I also came in and had strep throat and he was like “probapby just a cold” but the nurse was nicer and did the strep test which came back positive. This man is going to let someone die one day.

DO NOT COME HERE. If you arrive with an urgent matter you are met with a lack of empathy and papers are thrown at you before even being asked what is wrong. We only came here because it is 24 hours and we are the only ones in the room and have yet to be acknowledged by name. Stay away.
