Be cautious when doing a new service connect with these guys online. They require an over the phone credit check so you might as well call them anyway. I requested service transfer for my account online and set up a connect date and everything. They called to do the credit check but I didn't answer because I didn't know the call was coming and didn't know the number and there was no caller ID information. They didn't leave a message. When I called to track down when my service order would be fulfilled they said they needed to run the credit check and that they could schedule me for a later date. This whole situation could have been avoided with a simple message "Hello this is so-n-so from Virginia Natural Gas. Please call us back to complete your new service connect. Thank you" left on my voice mail. We're now without hot water for almost an entire week. Despite talking to their manager the CSR was essentially unsympathetic. Makes me want to install an electric water heater.
