Reviews

The park was sectioned by differing areas of the world. Patrons walk around the park and see the various wildlife indigenous to a specific part of the world. It seems interesting that certain animals may not be present, at zoos, at times. There was an indoor area for reptiles. I thought it was fine, in current condition. The internet says its under renovation. On the way out, there was a nice gift shop. Overall, it was a fun time for kids.

The zoo was amazing!! They have kangaroos, red pandas, food and gardens.They also have a wide array of animals from all over the world. My husband and I took four hours to see mostly everything. They have beautiful gardens that I am sure blossom in spring. We went Saturday, but waited in line almost 40 minutes to buy tickets. The military and family passes have to be bought in person. It would help if they allowed them to be bought online or had extra windows for busy days. There was a beautiful peacock running around the park. The petting zoo was nice. There was a 20 minute train ride for two dollars. All in all a great experience.

I go to this zoo at least once a year. Either with friends or as a volunteer chaperone with a group of children and each time has been fantastic. The zoo is clean, the staff is helpful and friendly and the parks layout is easy to read and maneuver and unless the weather is bad you usually end up seeing a good portion of the animals without any issues.

The Zookeepers were out last week at nearly all the animal enclosures answering lots of questions. They were really great with the kids. They even had a lion skull and large tooth they could touch! Had lunch there and the cheeseburgers and fries  were very good!!

Is it a big zoo I am asked a lot by my friends. No it is a small zoo, but it's is a very nice zoo. It features a types of animals that kids will love as well as adults. Nice food there and it even let's you feed the animals. And it's has a nice little playground right next to it where little kids can play at. It's is a amazing zoo logical facility.
