My children and I have been seeing Dr.Max for years now. I wouldn't want to be seen by anyone else. He is absolutly amazing with my children and keeping them engaged. When it was my son's first visit, he made sure that it was fun, and not traumatizing. I always thoroughly enjoy our visits. The women at the front desk are always kind and helpful. And every single time our glasses come in they call as soon as they get them and always make sure they fit properly before we leave. If you want an optometrist with a warm welcoming atmosphere that goes above and beyond, I highly recommend Dr.Max.

I have gone here for over 20 years for my first glasses at 3 years old. Max has always been kind and great at explaining what's going on and the why's of what he's doing for me. The lady's at the desk are always helpful and willing to do whatever they can for you. This will always be the place I recommend to people.

My children have been going to Dr. Max for over 15 years.  He has always treated them in a wonderful manner, he has gone out of his way to help them get the care they needed even after they moved out from home and acquired their eye care on their own as adults.  Our family continues to go to Dr. Max , even my grandchildren have started seeing Dr. Max.  :)

I'm not sure what happened with the previous review but my experience was just the opposite.  Today was my first time there and the ladies at the counter were very helpful and kind.  Dr. Max Engelman was very thorough and took his time to explain everything to me as this will be my first time wearing glasses.  As for pushing contact's, I was told that I'm not a candidate for them due to my eye condition and I would like to be able to.  I have absolutely no complaints at all, everything was handled just as I expected thus I would recommend to anyone to go there!

The women working the front desk are very unfriendly and they are like chickens running around with their heads cut off. They have no idea what's going in and are not helpful. The main doctor teases me every time I go in for preferring glasses to contacs. He calls me a wimp every time I go in. I didn't ask for his opinion and don't like being teased for my preference. It's also hypocritical considering the main doctor wears glasses. I definitely do not recommend going here.
