This is if I remember correctly an arm of the Mississippi Convention And Visitors Bureau. If you're an out of towner this is a great place to get insight on things to do.

Be very, very careful when in Jackson, Ms. Do NOT let anyone know you are gay. The state of Mississippi has enacted strict laws regarding homosexuals. You can be legally denied services from any business, whether it be hotels, gas stations or hospitals. All of these services can be denied to a gay person in Jackson, as well as, all of Mississippi. Don't be fooled, Mississippi is not only the "Bible-belt". It's also the "teen pregnancy belt", the "high school dropout belt", the "meth belt", the "porn belt", the "poverty belt", as well as, the "STD belt".

Closed at 2:30 on a week day, with no sign explaining why or when they would be open. It was also nearly impossible to find.

This is where cab drivers are required to go for hospitality training. Most of what their "teaching" is completely useless. Some drivers never pickup at the airport, they strictly work in town under a dispatcher.
