I enjoyed the Vista experience so much so my wife and I returned to attend. Any person or family looking for a Sunday Meeting ought to stop by. Vista is very welcoming. Many opportunities are available for spiritual growth. Give this church a try or receive their new streaming in your own living room.

Attended the 9 am service, was greeted given a bulletin and left to find our own seats...was an auditorium style sanctuary with screen in front if you did not pick up a hymnal as you came in. While the name translates "view of the mountains" the shades were drawn so there was no view of the mountains or bright sunlight shining. The service was simple and easy to follow. The hymns were familiar and the accompaniment on piano and organ were good as was the choir. The message to the children was a chapter from an old children's religious book being read...and there were no children there?...and this was promised for the next eight weeks. The scripture was was read not from the bible but from a paraphrase. This bothers me only to the extent that I would react to a paraphrase of the U.S. constitution by a Democrat or Republican...sincere and full of faith, but just a bit of bias or prejudiced spin...so that was a large sudden stop in worshipping, especially since the scripture was very familiar and so suddenly stopped as something clearly different in meaning was being read. The sermon was good and could have been great, except for the fact tha all the stories focused on the preacher and were not always very relevant to the message. Conclusion: a good friendly church very much worth trying out to discover if it can lift your soul... It should also be mentioned that they have a number of community concerts of various kinds that are quite good.
