Our landlord is putting his house on the market. We have to be out by the 30th.
Seeing a listing in Craigslist for a home (3br. 1 bath) in Millbrae, I called the number and spoke to Connie Wu (real estate agent).
I inquired about the property in question, whether or not it was available. In reply to my question, Ms. WU wanted to know how many people in our family.(Is that legal?)
I replied there are five people in our family. Two adults, 3 children. She laughed and said that 1 bathroom for 5 people was no good. It would be a tight squeeze. 
I paused to give her time to compose her self from her good laugh at our apparent bad judgement. I calmly asked if the home was available to be viewed.
She indicated that it was (apparently displeased that her laugting at me, had not dissuade me). 
When we went to see the house, she barely looked or spoke with us. She waited at the front door of the house, did not offer to show us around nor provide us with additional information about the house. She did reply to specific questions. Did not offer to show us the backyard. In fact one got the odd sense she was not in the market to rent this property for her client, well at least not to us.
The best part of all this, is that this home has 1.5 bathrooms not the single bathroom which was the cause of so much merriment to her. 
We offered 4 months in advance. (We really need to find a place).
Good luck if you come across this real estate agent. 
Avoid Ms. Wu if you have kids or are looking to rent.

Follow-up:

I called the company to ask if there were other agents that had rentals and was told that at the moment Ms. Wu seem to have what was available. I spoke to a very friendly person (Mary) who was surprised to hear of my encounter with Ms. Wu. 
I indicated that i was going to write my review on Yelp and hoped that Ms. Wu was not representative of this company.  I was going to give one star but now will up it to two, thanks Mary for your kind words.
