W o w ! My visit to Be-Vital was given as a gift for body work but what I got was even more.. Beyond deep comfort and relaxation I was given gentle and beautiful honesty through our pre-service talk. Valerie took a deeply genuine interest in my personal circumstance and my path and she did wonderful work to aid me in it. As a somewhat guarded individual I felt such comfort.  Day three after my shrirodha(?) and i am still carrying more peace with me. Thank you, thank you, thank you Valerie.

After a strenuous two weeks in the Northern California area I decided to book an abhyanga and shirodhara before I headed back home to Dallas / Fort Worth.  VitalLiving's office / studio was impressive!  Calm, relaxing, welcoming ... it quickly became the refuge I was looking for.  Why didn't I come here sooner?!

The treatment room was peaceful and spacious.  The massage table was warm and comfy.  I've had many massages before, but this was my first traditional abhyanga.  The energy was amazing!  And I found myself quickly melting into the table.  Time either stopped or flew by, but what was about an hour seemed like seconds.  All cares and stress were forgotten.

Then the shirodhara began.  I was lucky to book at a time when VitalLiving offered a new lavender infused coconut oil treatment.  It was a perfect finish after spending 14 hot summer days in Nevada City.  The shiro was cool and relaxing.  The shiro equipment was VERY quiet, and it provided me the opportunity to relax my mind without distraction.  I highly recommend this treatment.  It was a very powerful experience.

So, would I go back to VitalLiving?  Most definitely!  I left VitalLiving refreshed and renewed.  I'm already planning my next visit so I can try more treatments!

A total gem. Unique, sophisticated and earthy.  Beautiful location.  Quality therapists. The treatments are out of this world.  I highly suggest the Abyangha and Shirodhara treatments together (the Kama package).

Wow, I just finished my third day of a ongoing Ayruvedic massage and spa treatments given by Valerie Goulding and I feel AMAZING! Driving the few miles up from Grass Valley, CA was easy and worth it. I never would have guessed how much Ayruveda could benefit me. But a huge contributor was Valerie's special touch, her sweet and calming demeanor, her passion for health and wellness and gorgeous facility. I feel so rested and rejuvenated and ready to conquer the world! People have told me that I look younger and alive! Thank you Valerie!

I treated myself to a 3-day rejuvenation process which included many of the Ayurvedic treatments.  Valerie's warmth, deep knowledge and hands-on talent was simply fantastic.  I learned a lot about the science of Ayurveda too.  The entire process was simply wonderful and a great thing to do especially during a key life transition.  Thank you VitaLiving for creating such an amazing place.
