Good, but not great. After reading all the reviews I expected greater pizza. The dough was good, a combination just between thin and "regular" crust. The pizza was cooked perfectly for us, not too much or too little. We ordered a large 3 topping based on a coupon we saw in the regular monthly magazine we get in the mail. The "coupon" was for a large 3 topping for $11.99 but it didn't exist according to the counter staff, but was a misprint from the magazine. It should be noted that these coupons will NOT be honored at Vito's even though they display a 12/31/2022 expiration date. The counter staff was polite and efficient and our pizza was ready promptly. Value for what you get is good, but we didn't like the canned mushrooms as much as fresh ones. Would be OK to eat in but no one was there when we arrived and all the orders we saw were takeout as we waited for our pizza. A notice in the store mentioned that prices were recently increased on October 1, 2022. A good value still, but call for pricing as the website has not been updated and many online menus have older prices. We'll continue looking for our new, local favorite pizza place... Parking: Plenty of parking.
Been here many times and have always had great food. This time was no different. We got a veggie white pizza with chicken and it looked great, tasted even better. Highly recommend!
Our favorite in town place to get pizza. It’s a cozy little restaurant. The owner and staff are friendly. The pizza is delicious and reasonably priced.
So I am 6 months pregnant and was having a serious craving for pizza my husband works across the street and has been raving about them for quite some time. He grabbed me a large pepperoni and brought it home which is about a half hour away. When I tell you that pizza was absolutely delicious oh my goodness it was so good. And I couldn't believe the size for the price he paid I will have extra Pizza to last me for a couple more days of pizza cravings! Keep up the good work Vito's you got a happy preggy lady over here I would absolutely recommend even if you got to drive across town to get it!
Vito's pizza has great flavor. The sauce and crust are really good, but, they don't always cook it enough and the crust comes out soggy and doughy. Twice now, we have had to cook it longer to crisp up the crust. They got the recipe right, just need to cook it better.Food: 3/5
Got a medium meaty and it was great! Highly recommend calling it in. We tried a walk-in at lunch, and with the brisk business Vito's does, it took 25 minutes. That's about 10 minutes longer than their norm. So think about the time frame your hitting them up. Hot crispy crust, not a lot of sauce, gooey melted cheese, and plentiful toppings.
Ordered for the first time tonight and it was excellent. The girl on the phone was bright and engaging. The driver was punctual and nice. Best of all though was the pizza! We have found our pizza place.
Vito's Pizzeria is my favorite pizza place in the Orange Park area. I especially love the cheese they use and the flavor of their sauce, tasty and flavorful, and not the sickly sweet or over-spiced sauce I find at some of the other places in this area. Also the cheese is plentiful so this is the only place where I don't have to order extra cheese. Pizzas are usually ready quite quickly, and they also have a nice dine-in area. And the customer service is always friendly, cheerful and helpful.
My wife and I discovered Vitos in 2020 and it has become our favorite pizza restaurant. From the wonderful crust to the toppings, and very reasonable prices, the ingredients make for tasty pizzas. The accomodations are simple and clean. Also, the employees are courteous, friendly, and care about our order. My wife creates a medium veggie pizza while I order the medium Deluxe substituting the pepperoni for green olives -- we each eat half of our pizza in the restaurant and taking home the other half for our next day's supper. Vegetarian options: Can create a custom veggie pizza. Parking: Handicap parking. Wheelchair accessibility: Easy entry.
They have gone down hill. They don't even know how to cut a pizza anymore. Some slices were tiny, not evenly cut. The owner responded by saying sometimes they are busy. Someone who normally doesn't cut pizzas maybe did it and etc. I've been going to vitos for years. I took all of that into account. I have been there on such occasions. I wish I would have taken a picture. I normally wouldn't complain but, This was the worst cutting hack job I've ever seen anywhere. It wasn't busy. There were a bunch of employees standing around. My kids, nephews, neices have done a better job making homemade pizzas. Totally unprofessional response since owner didn't see the pizza and wasn't there. I have worked food service and I know things happen but, I would never have handed food to customers like that. Your business should never SELL pizza that looks like that. That's your business, and being a small business should take pride in the quality and presentation of product your putting out. I definitely would not respond to customers the way you have. I would have made them remake if I was owner/ manager. I was also being nice, the pizza didn't taste that good, barely had cheese or sauce. I now have changed my rating to one star.
