The best vegan food I’ve ever encountered. Flavor is so authentic my non vegan friends could not tell the difference. The best part is their salsas they are actually spicy. I got a porky burrito that was so big it took me the whole hole day to finish. Their quesabirrias are so crunchy and tasty. Vegetarian options: Everything is vegan here!
Finally tried Viva Vegan Taqueria and so happy I did! The OG Burrito is only $10 on Thursdays and so I got that and let me tell you, it was Gucci baby no cap! Tasted great! Along with the red hot sauce, very good. Can't wait go back and try other items!Food: 5/5
Don’t be fooled by the photos on IG, the food looks nothing like the fully filled tacos that you see. I got the quesabirrias crispy taco plate for $20 for 2 tacos. Literally no cheese and maybe a tablespoon of jackfruit Birria. You can see from the photo how empty the tacos are… It was 90% crispy tortilla. I wanted to love this place but when your food isn’t what you portray, I can’t support you.
Felt like it’s extremely expensive for “authentic” Mexican food but vegan! Quac $3 - insane Avo Sauce $2 lol free and complimentary and Mexican spots Pico $1 lol same as above
The food was absolutely delicious—I highly recommend it whether you're vegan or not. I ordered the Chimmibirra Burrito and it was fantastic. I'm already looking forward to trying more items from their menu.Recommended dishesChimmibirria Burrito
This is seriously one of the best vegan food I've ever had and I'm Mexican, so I've tried lots of plant based tacos. Not even Mexico City offers that often vegan tacos so good, specially when talking about birria ones. My husband had the birria meal which was spot on. The quesabirria and birriamen were delicious, their consomé and meaty protein are to die for. Also tried the asada, pastor and carnitas tacos, they were pretty good! Don't forget to add some guacamole to your order, it goes great on everything. My order came out quickly.
I picked up the food. It was crowded with many people waiting. Just be aware that many people might be there. The food is fantastic. Full flavored, with authentic spices. I love every dish here.

THE FOOD IS REALLY GOOD AND FULL OF FLAVOR, ALTHOUGH IT IS PRICEY. MORE THAN YOU WOULD BUY A NON VEGAN PLATE AT OTHER PLACES. I ASSUME IT IS COSTLY TO THEM TO GET THE JACKFRUIT IN LARGE AMOUNTS. Overpriced very bad replication of birria in particular automatically has set to tip on the credit card processor too when it’s already a 30 dollar take out fast food meal essentially so my Friend ended up spending even more than me because he didn’t see it 5 bucks for a super small horchata horrible parking no seating area even so definitely overpriced for take out I feel ripped off definitely as a vegan I find it hard to convince my friends to go vegan when places like this exist and real birria in south central is a fraction of the price
