I have been a fan of Vivid Coffee for past year and for the first time I got to visit the cafe earlier this month. The cafe is spacious and lush with plants. Had a chat with Ian, he is super nice and generous. I had a cup of cappuccino and drip coffee, they were both fruity and well-balanced. The roaster is cute and gave me a tour of how their roasting process works. Looking forward to coming back soon. Thank you to everyone at Vivid who made me feel welcomed to Vermont <3.
Very good cappuccino and iced oat milk latte. The kouign amann was also good and there are a few gluten free options like smoothies. The space is big and comfortable, id prefer slightly quieter music with a more laid back energy but not picky, just have sensory issues. Would love to see a gluten free pastry or sandwich option.Food: 5/5
Great atmosphere. They have a fireplace and a long dining room where they roast the coffee out in the open. They also provide lots of local coffees, and locally made sodas. What stood out were their croissants. We got the almond croissant and it was big enough for the 3 of us. Kid-friendliness: Cozy sofas Wheelchair accessibility: Bathroom was large enough for a wheelchair.
Gorgeous space with incredible vibes. A fireplace and a warm drink was perfect on this sunny November day. There’s a lot of seating in the back in addition The baristas were wonderful. I drank the Sugar Shack Latte which is fun and super sweet, though not very strong in terms of coffee. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian mills and food options. Wheelchair accessibility: There’s no stairs.
Great coffee and drink selection. Comfortable seats and cozy fireplace. Kind staff and fast service. Love the different tables and atomosphere. In the back they often have the premier league on during the weekends - my favorite place to watch! Very fair prices as well. A great coffee shop!
Just passing through Burlington for a day! Vivid Coffee has a great vibe inside, the baristas were friendly and professional, and the interior is designed beautifully with lots of seating arrangements for people to sit and read, chat, study etc. Didn’t try anything but the coffee, but the food and other drinks looked yummy! We really wanted to have a great experience here, and everything seemed really perfect except for that the shots in our lattes were extremely under extracted and sour tasting. I couldn’t tell if it was also under-roasted or maybe the milk was on its way out, because the latte art was beautiful, milk neatly foamed, and it seemed like the over all craftsmanship of the drinks was high quality.. but that espresso was so unpleasantly tangy and left an extremely off putting taste in our mouths for a long time after drinking them. We actually purchased another latte with one less extra shot to see if it was just a set of bad shots and the third drink was still undrinkable. So sad and disappointed, because we really had a hard time finding a good latte on our one day in Burlington on a September Tuesday for some reason, and after seeing great reviews of Vivid we had high hopes all the way up until the third cup. Didn’t want to bug the barista because it was likely an issue with the machine programming or the roasting, not with her drink crafting abilities, but hopefully this problem can get some attention. Dietary restrictions: Lots of milk alternatives.
Overall, a good experience with a limited menu to choose from. The coffee was so delicious, it was a maple latte with coconut milk. Downside was no caramel.Food: 5/5
Beautiful place! Perfect for doing work. Coffee could be better limited, small, + expensive, but the space makes up for it. Go for the experience, not the coffee.
Very charming and pretty staff Luxury environment. High class.Food: 5/5
After we ordered our coffees, the barista served five other groups that came in after us before making ours. No apologies, no recognition that he kept us waiting. There are plenty of nice coffee shops in Burlington. We won't be back to this one.Food: 2/5
