I booked a load with Rebecca early this morning for a pickup out of Kingman, AZ.  She had to complete a setup with my company, so I sent her the link and she started.  An hour later I checked and she had stopped halfway through.  She 'got distracted' and said she'd start again!  Great!  

I see another hour later that she stopped the setup process, but when I call she is in a MEETING!  Must be an important meeting!  Another dispatcher took my call and said the truck had been booked since yesterday!  

0/10 would not recommend!

VMG TRANSPORTATION agreed to ship 39,000 lbs--17 pallets from Tennessee to California with a pickup date of 5/10/16 by 4 pm EST, which is our closing time. No driver had shown up by 4:30, so I contacted my booking agent. He spoke to dispatch and they told him they were 40 miles out.

Another hour and a half passed before I contacted him again. He was then told that the truck was still in Georgia, approximately 6 hours away and that they would not be able to pick it up on 5/10. We stayed 2 hours after operating hours, just to be told "sorry, can't get there."

It seemed to me like VMG TRANSPORTATION's employees intentionally lied about the location of the truck driver to prevent my company from finding another carrier in time.

I expected a driver to be waiting for me when I arrived this morning, but there wasn't. I contacted my booking agent again, who once again contacted dispatch. They told him they would be unable to pick it up today (5/11).

Had this company been honest and forthcoming, I would have been able to find another company and already had my product on its' way out. Instead, I am now a day and a half behind and am frantically searching for a new company.

As our business has expanded dramatically in California, I will make sure to avoid this company for future shipments and will also notify my customers of this situation and point them in the direction of other carriers.

----EDIT- Truck Driver did show up on 5/11, after we had already cancelled the pickup and found a new carrier. The truck driver was very pleasant and courteous, which is the only positive I can take from this experience.
