I bought a Volton Alation 500 from Joe. I have had the bike for about 1 month and have already put on almost 600 miles. This bike feels very solid, and have had no break downs. I spend a lot more time riding a bike now. Joe is very helpful with any questions you may have. My bike gets about 37 miles on a charge. I did do my homework and I believe to get a bike of this quality would cost much more from some of the bigger names.

Purchased an Elation 500 ST (2017 model) from Electric Spokes , Verona NJ. I have had the bike for a week and have put about 150 miles on it. This is my second ebike , and for me, an upgrade from a 250 watt bike. The bike is built extremely well and is very responsive when using peddle assist. The bike can easily power up steep grades and can handle 30 mile rides with 2000 feet of climb, having plenty of battery to spare ( riding conservatively on setting 2 or 3 ). The bike handles well in turns, and can be managed reasonably well with the power assist completely off. The shifting is flawless and the breaks are smooth with plenty of stopping power. Before buying the bike I was able to test drive several e bikes, some costing almost twice as much as this model does. I can tell you that this bike holds its own against the competition. Definitely a quality build. My only complaint was that the bike came with only one key for the battery compartment. I contacted Volton Support and was immeadiately given a new lock and a set of two keys. Feeling very good about this purchase !!

I've wanted an electric bike for awhile now and considered many of the brands.  It was confusing in the beginning but soon the creme rose to the top and without question Volton is the creme of the crop.  Volton has an elegant design that makes people notice.  there pricing is excellent and less than most.  Out on the trail I get asked about my Alation all the time.  The integrated battery is beautifully hidden and doesn't look like the electrics of old.  I love it.  The best thing about my Volton electric is the owner.  Joe is amazing and incredibility helpful.  He really takes care of his customers.  When I asked for him to do some modifications he was only too willing to make it happen.  Try that with some manufacturers!  

I highly recommend Volton for anyone looking into buying an electric.  You will be happy you did.
