Very nice atmosphere, but the food falls short. I got the Brick Chicken and it was insanely salty. It came with capers so I was prepared for some saltiness but the waitress couldn’t bring enough water it was that salty. My mother got the short rib with risotto. The short rib was nice but also extremely salty as well. The risotto was not that flavorful. I also got a side dish of pasta and it was fine. The pasta was cooked great and the texture of the pasta is nice, you can tell it is made in-house. The shining star of this establishment was the service. Our waitress, made sure we had everything we needed and was very pleasant. Unfortunately, I would not come again though, the food just missed the mark.

Great food and service! Hosted a large, family birthday event at Volturno Privato.  Tiffany was an excellent coordinator!  She gracefully handled any special requests with a smile and just took care of everything.  John also helped us set up the event with great suggestions and exceptional service.  My guests and I can highly recommend this as a great place for a private event.

I have the amazing benefit of working on Shrewsbury Street. My colleagues and I can choose among many great restaurants, but Volturno is our go-to lunch spot. I have never been disappointed. My clients are also amazed with the great service and the unique pizza offerings.  Top quality with exceptional service will keep me going back for many years!

Excellent and unique pizzas and other entrees! Parking was tough at 6:45 pm Friday and there was a long wait for meal. Beer came early of course. Would come again because of great service and menu. Maybe on weeknight though.

The service here was very slow. However my pizza (I forget what it was called but it was vegetarian with burrata, arugula, olives) was absolutely out of this world. I would definitely go back just to get that.
