Why aren't there more Von's fuel stations? Before I had a Costco card, I always fueled up here or the station off of Indian Hills when driving to SD as the prices were so reasonable.

Super cheap gas. Always go out of my way to gas up here. If you have a vons club card then it can be even cheaper. Not all card work on the machines here. My boyfriend's mission federal credit union card didn't work here but that just means they have really tight security so that's good.

The credit price here is already about 30 cents less than area name brand gas stations. When I used my Vons card (actually I don't have one so I used my phone number instead) I shaved off another 70 cents per gallon. So that's, ballpark, a dollar a gallon. 

When I arrived here I drove right up to a pump - no wait at 4p Friday. 

So I don't know about the quality of the fuel and I don't know what times are not good because of long lines, but for me it was well worth going out of my way from Rancho Bernardo to get Vons gasoline.

Vons Fuel has very good gas prices, even though they no longer give the extra 3¢ discount for Vons Club. They did start charging more for credit, so you will get a 10¢ discount if you pay cash or use your debit card. You can earn discounts by buying groceries at Vons.
  The lines can be long, so try to go really early or late, since it's open 24hrs if you are paying with a card. Try to go when the tanker isn't there, because it can block spaces and make it hard to exit. They have really long hoses, so you can be in the wrong-side line, but still fuel ok.
