On March 24th at approximately 3:30, I phoned Vons on Saturn Boulevard to ask if they carried grape leaves in brine in a jar. First, I spoke with a woman in the deli, who told me she would find out. She put me on hold for approximately 5 minutes and never returned. Next I spoke to a woman from " all other inquiries" who told me she would find out and put me on hold for another 5 minutes and never came back. I called again and this time spoke with someone from the florist who told me she would direct my call to customer service, who never answered. After speaking with three ladies who put me on hold and never returned I tried to get in touch with the manager to find out if they had grape leaves in their computerized inventory. At the end of 20 minutes of my starting this ordeal, someone finally answered the phone and said "Are you looking for grape leaves?" I said, "Yes," she said, "We don't have them." She did not have an answer for me when I asked her why someone didn't simply return to the phone and tell me they did not have them. At this point I have wasted 40 minutes on this simple question. I feel that my asking for an unusual ethnic food led the employees to believe that I was not worthy of receiving the courtesy of an answer. I feel deeply hurt and discriminated against.

Been shopping here for 25+ years. Always had a good experience. But over the last year or so I've noticed a steady decline. Subpar fruits and vegetables, standard items not available for weeks on end, empty shelves, dusty cans that look like they lived on the shelf for years, dirty floors, deplorable restrooms. During Holiday season you'll find pies, cakes and cookies galore, but no fresh bread. The location is convenient, but from now on I'm driving the couple of extra miles and do my shopping in a clean, fully stocked store.

It's a great place to shop. They have a great selection and the store personnel are very friendly and helpful.

The associate's are always friendly at the saturn store. Pam, Javier, Betty are the best thou. I don't like shopping at the Dennery road store. Always a bad experience there and I live closer to them so I preferred to shop the saturn store for there awesome service

Vons has been are store since the early 80s when we moved from Orange county we do miss alot of the older crowds but it's ok the kids that bag can have better to us but that's everywhere its called costermer service.
