If you buy items on sale they are less than walmart (only 2 places to shop locally) if they do accidentally overcharge they are very nice about their mistake and correct it immediatly with a smile and refund unlike some companies.

Vons has a pretty good selection to choose from and the Vons app does come in handy. They also have a Starbucks inside.

Wait in a long line, then wait in a long line again to get back the money they've overcharged you. I've had to do that a few times, and wonder if it's even worth my time. This last time they didn't even honor their "it's free" policy. They know that a lot of people just aren't going to bother with checking their receipts or coming back to get their money, so they just purposefully price things wrong. Another issue is that this store will put things that they know are out of date right back on the shelf. I pointed out some badly out of date cereal to a manager and went back a couple weeks later and it was still there. I then started putting it up on the top shelf and they'd just keep putting it right back on the shelf. Before I knew how awful this store is and started checking everything I buy there, I bought sun-dried tomatoes that went out of date in 2016! I've frequently found very rotten produce in the store shortly after they open at 5am. I never experienced that at the numerous other Safeways and Vons I've shopped at. With a couple of exceptions, the cashiers are all extremely cold. I definitely don't expect smiley-cheery-happy-I-love-my-job type people, but the vibes are usually just really cold here no matter which language I speak. I really wish this Vons would close and a Winco or Grocery Outlet would move in.

Really great deals in the store especially the meat always on sale great amazing cuts. Not sure the quality but it usually looks good.
