I was in Council Bluffs, IA and decided to go Wahlburgers at Hy-Vee on Broadway. We'll the young lady that took my order and waitress was very nice. The food was  good but not great. I had to wait 40 minutes to get my burger as they gave my first burger to the wrong person. Wahlburgers is a much better restaurant when they are stand alone and not inside of a HyVee.

Good food but not spectacular. The guy who helped us wasn't trained well on how to use the computer. We had a specialty double burger, a Cesar salad with whitefish and chicken, sweet potato tots and a root beer float. The burger was good, cooked to order and juicy. Condiments well balanced and fresh. The bun fall apart from the juice, halfway through. A toasted bun would have held up. The tots were generously proportioned and hot. The salad was fresh, good whitefish with the chicken on the side. Very light on the dressing. I ate half of the root beer float before discovering any root beer or bubbles. I topped it off at the fountain. $40 for 2 of us to eat a salad and a burger. I'm glad I tried it. However, it value is not worth the price. Several other specialty burger joints I'd eat at first. I was a little disappointed. Not the emotional experience it was built up to be. The service was timely once the order was placed and accurate.

I didn't actually eat there I always choose the Chinese food! The party I was with had it I ordered and ate before their food was even brought out!  chicken salad  it was said though it was delicious!Food: 5/5

We sat for 25 min waiting for our food! It was not hot when we got it either! The sweet tots were amazing! Chicken tenders were cold on the inside! The BBQ burger was good and filling! The Bacon Mac and Cheese was not cheesy at all!!Food: 3/5

Wish 0 stars was available. Had mother's day brunch buffet. All the food was ice cold and none of the staff addressed this at all. $42.00 for 2 and we ate bacon and a couple of bites of prime rib. Then left and ordered breakfast somewhere else.

The burgers are delicious and juicy. They are cooked when ordered, cooked to your preference. Medium to well done. The toppings were fresh too. The typical lettuce, onion, tomato and pickles. On the menu they have several specialty burgers. They also serve chicken and salads. Definitely coming back.

Been wanting to try Wahlburgers forever, was so excited when I saw Council Bluffs was getting one. Got the BBQ Bacon Burger it was great. Their Onion Rings are really good too - different than any I've ever had. Customer service was great too, I'll be going back for sure.
