Chris in the small claims department went above and beyond to help resolve my filing problem. It is refreshing to see a civil servant care about her duty to the public and fellow citizens. I really appreciate the help, and I'm happy to be in Wake County.

I would give it zero if I could. Why? Because the number that appears in goggle search has been disconnected. Your government dollars at work.

No one is able to help you. Passing you off to someone else oh that's not this department or they transfer you without listening to your question so you end up in the wrong department. Very bad service.

This is not even the clerk of court it's law talk and the guy was a dick. Listed under Clerk Of Superior Court. I ask why I got this number instead and he said it just comes up that way. That's deceving and seems illeagle.

the number posted here does yield the Clerk of Courts, Wake County. My complaint is that they have stuffed that one phone number with every conceivable courthouse activity, so; for someone trying to find out why they have gotten a jury duty summoning AGAIN, after being disabled and unable to participate with jury duty since 1995, with 2 surgeons letters on file......this one phone number does not give any other redress except for parking lot hints, juror numbers valid for that day and instructions on appearing, etc. None of the options on this phone number seem to be able to "summon" a live human's brain to converse and query with. Yet, anyone unable to give their excuse to the court in the time frame they specify ( 10 days prior to the date requiring appearance) is subject to the court's punishment and or harrassment mentally of the citizen...when the court did not send out the juror summons until AFTER a 10 day difference in dates, making obediance to their "rules" impossible. So, don't waste your time calling this number if you are being chased by jurur duty summonings and you have critical questions or time sensitive matters to discuss with the clerk's office, cuz no one works there who answers to the voters and citizens. Yes, I vote tho' I am disabled....that's why I keep getting these summonings despite having permanant disabiilty medical statements on file which I have to pay the doctor for AGAIN.
