I was first attracted to Walden Home Hardware because it was well-stocked and conveniently located.  It has become much more than that to me.  The staff, there, go above and beyond good service.  (SO rare, nowadays!)  They are not only friendly, but they are competent, and helpful.  I recommend this store - without hesitation.

Bought an outside door handle for $135.59 in mid May from Walden Home Hardware.  Had a recommended Home Hardware person install a new door with the new handle in mid June.  In mid August the door handle would not open the door.  Inferior product not backed up by the store.

I just went into the Walden store and service in plumbing was AWESOME!!!! Explained my problem...the gentleman gave me great advice and a few alternative solutions....problem fixed with a Shark Bite product in less than 5 min after getting home.....THANKS HOME HARDWARE!!!
