I have attempted to get my prescription filled for 3 weeks now at the Walgreens on Highland and Airline. I used the online chat app and was assured my Rx would be filled by the online representative. I went in person afterward to pick up my Rx but it had not been addressed. They then assured me they would send a fax request to my doctor. My husband then went to pick my Rx up a few days later, but it had not been filled/addressed. They then assured him they would get my Rx filled. He called today...my Rx still has not been filled. 3 weeks of attempting to get my Rx refilled with no success. This is not acceptable. And this is not the first time I have had issues with getting a Rx filled. I have had nothing but extremely poor service from this store and several others. Walgreens will never get my business again for anything. And I spent a lot of money there. I will be boycotting all Walgreens from here on out and will not recommend their services to my patients either.

Pharmacy is overworked and understaffed. Rude customers don't help, but it's understandable why they would be upset; the pharmacy has three stations for customer service and on the BEST days two of them are being utilized at any given point in time, with the pharmacist busy sorting medications in the back. 

Hire more people! I'll be happy to assist with your understaffing problem, I'm picking up my prescriptions at this location for the last time - I simply can't be bothered to wait two days for a fill and then 45 minutes just to make a 3 minute transaction, and that's IF there isn't a problem.

Costco has significantly cheaper medications, some on a level that I don't have to jump through insurance hoops to get what I need like I do with Walgreens, because they charge ridiculous prices for even generic prescriptions. Unacceptable considering you never even get consistency with a generic brand, they switch manufacturers every single month.

I cannot believe the horrible things that were said about Lee who works here. He is a wonderful person and yes he is a little chatty and maybe socially awkward, but Lee has a great heart. The evilness in some people always seems to leave me dumbfounded. If you do not appreciate the fact he has a job that he is proud of as someone with special needs and is always at work don’t matter what when you go to this location then go down the street to the dollar general with the rest of worthless items. Additionally, if you’re in a rush common sense is to choose somewhere you know you can get in and out, so don’t go somewhere you know this has never happened expecting a different outcome. That is called crazy btw. Goodnight!💤

Some of the worst service times I have ever seen. And good luck trying to call the store. Waited 25 minutes on hold and no one answered. Called another store and some one answered within 5 minutes. They do not care about you or how long you have been waiting. Worst Walgreens in Baton Rouge... possibly the country.

Update. Came to pick my prescription up, which they did not have ready as usual. One of the workers in the pharmacy got into an argument with another worker. She then stormed out of the back and yelled that she was leaving. Manager tried to stop her, but she kept on walking. Another day in crappy Walgreens. At least they are consistent...

Very rude and act like it is an inconvenience when you ask them questions. I was hung up on mid sentence about 5 minutes ago. I hate this pharmacy, but deal with them only because they are one of the few that carries my medication. If you don't like your job, then quit. I deserve respect if I am treating you with respect. Bottom line.
