This pharmacy, Allure, has a friendly atmosphere, loaded with all types of cards, games, gifts, jewelry, etc to sell, besides dispensing prescriptions on time. The 'Head "pharmacist", Ben, is extremely knowledgeable in all types of medicines and their interactions. Allure is a great family- runned business that is there to help....YOU with all your needs.

This review is for their pharmacy department. They are extremely rude! First off, I don't come here for fun, it's a necessity to control the migraines I get. I consider this part of the healthcare process, people with ailments shouldn't be subject to this type of treatment. As a healthcare professional, compassion and sympathy should be in your vocabulary. I won't sacrifice boorish behavior for convenience any longer. There are many more choices in Natomas, save yourself from aggravation by selecting a pharmacy that shows an ounce of care and compassion. Quick summary of my latest experience, I requested a refill of my prescription at the start of Jan, picked it up from the pharmacy, left it in the bag until my remaining migraine pills were completed, no one at the pharmacy explained to me that this was a partial order, they filled 3 of 9 caps. I found out two weeks later, when I opened the bag and needed to use the medication. Called and explained the situation and they insulted me by inferring that it was my fault I didn't check. They proceeded to refill the remaining 6 by taking out one of my monthly refills. I asked the pharmacy staff if I will still be able to refill at the start of Feb, she said yes, nothing was billed to me or my insurance company. Well that was a lie, John, the pharmacist, called and left a message saying that I can't refill because they had to bill the insurance company for the remaining 6 since I never picked up the remaining order. First off, I was never told it was a partial order, secondly, they never called to tell me to pick up the remaining pills, only to find out that it was too late to complete the order and they would have to bill again. Seems shady to me, that they would bill the insurance company for the initial order, and bill them a 2nd time to complete their partial order. It's their fault to begin with, they didn't have the supply, but worst off, they never told me that they didn't have enough to complete the order. Now I'm left battling my chronic migraines with one pill left to try and last over two weeks or suffer having to pay at full price myself, over $150 for their incompetence. Why am I so upset? Migraine sufferers will know.

I get my prescription here. The employees are nice but sometimes the pharmacy is a little slow.
