Classic lodge atmosphere. Great location. Stayed in Spruce Cabin (great!) and ate wonderful meals at the lodge dining room. Wonderful piano player on Friday and Saturday evenings in the lodge dining room. Ideal place to get away.

A very picturesque lodging experience. Very clean accommodations and caring staff. My wife and I stayed 2 nights in the sugar cabin. It was small but we had plenty of room. The cabin was fully stocked with anything we might need, including a flashlight and even board games. Quiet atmosphere with a clean park like setting. Very relaxing, lots of activities nearby. With no distractions of telephone, TV, and other noise we get everywhere else, it was almost like taking a step back in time. We did not eat at the lodge but will next time we visit. My wife especially loved taking photos of the tame deer that come right up to say hi. I would give it 10 stars if I could!!!

We stayed in a deluxe room. It was comfortable but sparse. It offered a queen bed, shower (no bath), sink, toilet and two stiff chairs. Nice setting. Pleasant staff. Good restaurant.

Beautiful lodge in natural setting at foot of Wallowa Lake just six miles outside Joseph, OR. Make reservations way early like starting in January. 12 lodge rooms, 2 suites, and 4 cabins. Tram to top of ridge nearby. Great views from the summit. Hiking into Eagle Cap Wilderness nearby. Lots of amenities - miniature golf, horseback riding, go karts, and boats/watersports gears available.

Great food. I only ate here but the local buzz is that the hotel is great. As for the food my steak was slightly undercooked but they fixed that quickly. If you're at wallowa lake and looking for food without going into Joseph. Eat here!
