I'm reluctant to share this secret gem... I don't want it to be too crowded...but I can't be selfish. I love this store! Starting with the fresh baked bread, on to the fabulous deli, the great meat counter- that always has my favorite Delmonico steak at a very fair price, the ready-made meals that are delicious along with homemade soups and an array of salads that will make you want to get a container of each one... there is also a great selection of produce and organic dairy products. Love it!!!

Overall, it is a cool place with a surprisingly large selection of European groceries. I work with a contact food service provider. We reached out to our suppliers for product when hosting a Polish chef. We we're told some items are not sold in the US. Wally's had it!

When I was briefly on a gluten-free diet, this market was a lifesaver. They sell a variety of interesting gluten-free grains in many forms. Their produce department has always been mediocre, but they do have great sales on candies, cookies, pickles, and soup of the week. I used to like this store more than I do now. KD is a far nicer, upscale market that offers delicious samples - it is cleaner and has a certain elegance Wally's lacks. Wally's should be nervous about KD - it is in fairly close proximity and everything is better there - from produce to candies to the bakery! Moreover, I don't feel intimidated shopping at the deli or bakery at KD - the cashiers are OK at Wally's, but the deli and bakery clerks are rude and snobby if you don't speak Polish. Ironically, my paternal grandparents were both Polish, but I don't speak a word.

It was one of the best groceries store in the 2000, but they closed a few locations since then. It still has good European options but it's obvious the store is struggling. You can catch a deal here and there so I think it's worth to visit the store from time to time.

My favorite Polish store in the suburbs. Deli and bakery items are always fresh, meat as well. Meat is usually cheaper than other grocery stores I shop at, great quality too. Shelves are always stacked with any Polish food item you can image.
