Kind of loosing faith in Walmart in good old Hang town. They use to have a meat section that was nice, now it's gone. Same with produce. Walmart will always be the cheaper go to place for clothes, sundries, assorted canned food and snax, garden supplies, house items. It is what it is.

It sure would be nice if I didn't have to flag down an employee from another department to page someone to come and man the counter in the sporting goods section. 9 times out of 10, it's pretty much guaranteed that there's no one there and sometimes they take awhile getting there after being paged. You'd think that with all the money Wal-Mart rakes in, that they could actually afford to pay someone to just be there to meet the customer's needs, especially being that this is Placerville where folks are consistently purchasing items that you can't pay for at the front check stand.. That wallows in lameness... 😒

I wish I could give a no star rating!  I've never liked shopping at Walmart, but I discovered today that they've locked literally all the shaving supplies behind glass doors, yet didn't think to add a call button, so you can ask an employee to get you a 97 cent can of shaving cream.  They placed video screens on several aisles, to let you know you're being filmed.  They allow you to use the self check out, yet have an employee check your receipt at the exit.  The employee doesn't actually look in your bags, so you could still steal lots of stuff (just not shaving supplies).  I can't believe they couldn't find better ways to deal with theft, and I will not shop somewhere that makes me jump through such insane hoops.  I'm done with Walmart.

I've been on the phone for over 40 minutes, waiting for the auto department. No one picks up the phone, operator tries again, no answer. I've been on hold for a combined 15 minutes waiting to speak to a manager. No one is accountable! Lousy management, and employees who are unable to be proactive. What a sad place.

Typical Wal-Mart. It's a mixed bag as far as the employees go. Some are totally inept, while others are super helpful and sweet.
