Since this smaller (neighborhood) Walmart competes with Rouses about a half a mile away (and Rouses has tried hard to live up to the reputation of the old Casey Jones grocery that all of Gretna dearly loved), this Walmart will get you in and out quickly. The selection for groceries is a little limited compared to the big Walmart and of course no clothes, furniture, and electronics; however, they usually have more than one kind of organic potato and other organic produce available also. Rouses almost never has organic potatoes but overalll Rouses has more and fresher produce, organic or not. The organic bottled and canned goods are at a good price here and their hours open are longer. I alternate between both stores, shopping at this store at least once a month to stock up on non-parishables. I visit the big Wally World almost never. I grew to hate Walmart over the years. Always, always had to wait in line 30 to 40 minutes, even at 11 p.m. back when the store was 24 hours. Then I found out how awfully the Walmart company treats their employees... I shop elsewhere as much as possible.

They actually carry two things that I have a hard time finding elsewhere, Cat's Pride Unscented litter and sunflower oil. They don't carry every thing I need but those two things are a big deal for me, especially the litter.

The store alarm went off and it was full of people and none of the employees or the managers were doing anything to try to stop the alarm and it was very annoying and very unprofessional. This Walmart is going down to the dumps quick . It needs better management

Convenient has food essentials paper goods Etc store is clean but never enough open registers. Friendly staff

I purchase gasoline here. Best gasoline prices around. Everyone else is higher.
