When Sam Walton opened the doors to the first Walmart in 1962, his goal was to save people money so they can live better. Sam was a firm believer in listening to what his customers had to say. That tradition continues today. But now, it doesn’t have to end when you leave the store. Through Facebook, we’re able to talk to you, find out what’s on your mind and let you know what we’re up to. It’s just another way we’re working to give the millions of families who shop at Walmart more of what they love—ways to save money and live better.

The staff is nicer than most! I really enjoy the upgrades that have been made, it helps with a more speedy checkout. They do need to work on the online order pickup a bit. But I honestly think they are still trying to work out the kinks. There have been minor issues when picking up my ordered items but not enough to keep me from ordering online (I like to order as much online as I can).

Rude, no one to help. If you do find someone, it's not their department, and they have to find someone. So many check out lanes and only a couple of them open. If you go be prepared to spend hours looking or waiting. And ordering online is not better, the website needs to be updated. Shows it is there, but I still waiting 3 weeks to pick up. I gladly will pay more or go farther with my money and time.

This happened last summer, July 2016, when Greg was the manager, apparently he has gone on to a Marketplace store now. I came into the store to look at only one item. We are from another state with an eventual retirement home nearby, and needed a dehumidifier. It was a 90 degree plus day, there is absolutely NO shade in their parking lot and we had a schnauzer with us, one that was blind, so she was not a barking dog, she was very quiet, laying in the cart and the door employee would not let us bring her in. I asked for the manager, who was Greg, and even though I only wanted to look at one item, he would not let us bring our pet in. He told me "you'll have to put her out in the car". I looked at him and said, "are you kidding, it's over 90 degrees out there"! I told him she was blind, she wouldnt bark but he insisted she could not come in. This has weighed heavily on my mind for a long time, and when I came back to TN, I went back in to find out this manager's name, so I could write this review. I was helped by a very concerned person, who listened and was just as appalled as I was. She stated that he is no longer with that store, and their policy is not as his was, as long as the animal poses no threat, or people are not scared by the animal, they can accompany their owners. I did not go in that store for a year, other Wal-Mart's got my business instead, as there are plenty of them in the area. I told Greg he would NEVER see me again, and I will, under NO circumstances leave ANY animal in the car in this heat. So, this experience was a bad one with Greg, and hopefully he wasn't promoted, because he deserves no promotion. On the other hand, Carolyn was very nice and understanding, so maybe I will consider shopping there again. I do tend to spend more in stores that have shady parking available, which more stores should think about. I tend to buy very little and spend very little time in a store when I think about coming back to my car if it's going to be extremely hot.

There's not much to say, it's wal-mart, I try not to eat the food unless it is prepackaged, and I never eat the produce, mainly because it is mostly grown in Mexico, or California. I don't mind spending more money for fresh produce and meat front stores like a chain in NC and Tennessee called Fresh market and Health food stores.

Typically has what your looking for, but made their self pretty much the only game in town, like most Walmarts do in small towns. Check out is always a wait, lots of registers no one working them. I will leave empty handed before I use self check out!
