This Walmart and the one in Morris, IL are the closest ones to me, so I shop here fairly often. This one is perhaps just a smidge smaller than the one in Morris, but still has a good selection of items, and often rare good buys on their clearance racks as well. I wasn't happy with the deli fried chicken I bought here earlier this year (too dry) -- but hopefully that was just an off day at the deli. The deli salads are pretty decent, though, and the adjacent bakery department usually has an excellent selection of pastry (plus loaves of French bread for a buck -- our go-to option for bread with Sunday dinner!).

I know people are really down on Wal-Mart, but the Pontiac store is awesome. 95% of their employees are nice and helpful. The store is clean and organized except on rare occasions.

Very expansive, clean store. Helpful and available staff at this location. I had an especially pleasant associate in the pharmacy, Steve somebody. I always use self check out and the area was big enough not to be congested, so I got in & out pretty quick. Nice store.

The customer service that I received from Brenton and Morgan in electronics was commendable. Morgan approached me with a smile and a willingness to help. Brenton went above and beyond by putting a screen protector on my phone, saving me hours of headaches and irritation. Both of these employees exhibited excellent customer service skills.

Very clean and shelves fully stocked. Employees I dealt with were very nice!
