I love seeing people with disabilities are hired at Walmart so they have opportunity . It has a large variety , everything you need. Unfortunately everything is made in China by people who are mistreated and make ridiculously low wages. The markup on the items is ridiculous. Items made in China cost $0.18 and then Walmart marks up the price tremendously and sells it for $19.84. They put all the small mom and pop places out of business when they have been here for such a long time, making everything around it a ghost town. The government pays for all of the property, parking lot, building and even the sidewalks and streets around it when small businesses that open have to pay for so many things just for the opportunity to build a business making it very hard. If you care about how Walmart really is affecting our country watch the DVD called Walmart the high cost of low price.

I seem to be there 3 or 4 times a week. I love Walmart in Wood River, especially their Pharmacy. They truly seem to care

Actually surprised they have a lot more veg options than I would have thought! Conveniently located from our home and open 24 hrs so late night medicine for the kids is great. Produce could be in better shape in my opinion, other than that great.

Helpful employees. Knowledgeable. Reasonable prices on house and clothing goods. ElecTronic dept. Knowledge Good. Can goods a little above average price. But betteR then schmuck s. Bakery very good selection. Staff very nice.

30 checkout lanes.. 3 open... no matter what time they always seem to be stocking. so your dodging pallet Jacks and boxes. and the price of everything you like seems to always go up.. limited selection on bulk grocery items.. watch price per package.. sometimes 2 smaller boxes is still cheaper that 1 big box.. don't you think they should do something about the birds living inside???
